Player Story

Chinelle Henry made her international debut as an 18-year-old in a T20I against New Zealand in October 2013, with her ODI debut following suit less than half a year later. She featured in the 2016 T20 World Cup, chipping in with the bat down the order. Chinelle was also included in West Indies' squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020. Henry made her WPL debut in early 2025, getting her shot with UP Warriorz as a replacement for the injured Alyssa Healy. There, she showed off her power game with the bat, hammering 33no from 15, and 62 off 23, in back-to-back powerful displays as she ended the season with a strike rate of 196.38.  Those performances - plus her primary skill with the ball - caught the eye of the Brisbane Heat, who drafted the allrounder for WBBL|11.
