Having made her WODI debut in the ICC Women's Championship against South Africa in 2014, all-rounder Deepti Sharma didn't take too long to impress everyone. Her maiden WODI hundred against Ireland in 2017 also ended up being a part of a 320-run world record opening partnership. The southpaw featured in the Indian squad which reached the finals of the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup, scoring 216 runs and scalping 12 wickets in the tournament. Eight years later, her player of the tournament run helped India cross the final barrier to lift their maiden World Cup trophy. Deepti was the leading wicket-taker in that tournament with her off-spin claiming 22 scalps, including a five-for in the final, while she also scored 215 runs in seven innings.
