Ajinkya Madhukar Rahane is an Indian international cricketer and the former all format captain of the India national cricket team. He plays and captain Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is the former captain of the Mumbai in domestic cricket. He played primarily as a middle-order batsman in the Test format and as a top-order batsman in white-ball forms of the game. India lost only one match under his captaincy.
